Natural Dye Workshop - DIY Bundle Dyeing with Liz of Laila Textiles

Join us at the Lost Girls Vintage + Luvsick Plus Studios to discover the art of natural bundle dyeing. In this 3 hour workshop led by natural dyer Liz Mortensen, you'll learn the basics of natural dye and how to bundle dye with plants.

Workshop will cover:

-Basics of natural dyeing including fabric prep, mordants, and modifiers

-Overview of natural dye plants and how to extract plant dye

-How to naturally bundle dye fabric with plants

-Each student will create and leave with a one-of-a kind bundle dyed 100% silk scarf as well as a PDF with information covered at workshop

Time: 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Location: Lost Girls Vintage + Luvsick Plus HQ in West Town (address & access information will be emailed to students).

Class fees: $60 - Class fees cover all supplies and materials. No prior experience needed, all are welcome! Please wear clothes you do not mind getting a bit messy.
